Five chapters. Two years. A real story.

Chapter one

Adharshila gave us our first real room. Over six months we showed up — first to listen, then to help, then to lead. It’s where MannMatters stopped being a sentence we’d written down and started being a thing other people walked into.

The MannMatters Times.

Our newsletter, on expression — the same idea that runs through everything else. Every month on @projectmannmatters.

A MannMatters Publication

The MannMatters Times

Issue No. 01 · 2026

Expression — art, poetry, the thing you finally said out loud — is the thing that helps.

In this issue

  • What we tried instead of disappearing.
  • The room that became a habit.
  • Two poems & one apology.

Letters

  • From an anonymous reader.
  • From someone who left a wall post.
  • From the editor.

Editor’s note

We started writing this because the loudest part of being a teenager is what you don’t say. The Times is where the said-things and the not-said-things meet, once a month, on a page you can fold.

    A small ask

We’re looking for a supervisor— to help credit our team members and to make sure we’re heading in the right direction. If that’s you, or someone you know, we’d love to talk.
